Spherical was founded in 2023 by silicon and systems engineers who'd lived on both sides of the value chain — and watched programmes burn nine months waiting for parts that should have taken nine weeks. We sit at the intersection on purpose.
Making products for space should be as remarkable as space itself. Instead it's expensive, long-winded, and inflexible. Until now.
We design radiation-hardened microchips from scratch, build the boards they sit on, and write the firmware that brings them up. The reason this is rare, not common, is that no one has been willing to own all three layers — silicon, board, firmware — at once.
That's our wedge. It's also our promise: when something goes wrong on the bus, you don't have three vendors pointing at each other. You have us.
