Data controller.
Spherical, Schiedamsedijk 39B, 3011 ED Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. For any question about this notice or your data, contact info@spherical.si.
The contact form.
The form at /contact collects:
- name
- email address
- company (optional)
- subject
- message
This site has no server-side backend of its own, so submissions are relayed through Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form processor, which forwards the message to Spherical's inbox by email. Web3Forms is a data processor for this purpose only — it does not use submitted data for its own marketing.
Outside the contact form, this site does not otherwise ask you to submit personal data.
No cookies. Aggregate analytics only.
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It runs no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts, and it is not connected to any advertising network.
We do measure how the site is used, with Umami — an open-source analytics tool we host ourselves at analytics.spherical.si, on Spherical infrastructure. No data leaves our own servers, and no third-party analytics provider is involved. Per page view it records the page address, the referring page, and coarse device information (browser, operating system, screen size, country). Your IP address is used to derive the country and a daily-rotating one-way hash that distinguishes one visit from another; it is not stored, and the hash cannot be reversed or linked back to you. There is no persistent identifier, so you cannot be followed from one day to the next, and you are not identifiable in what we hold.
Because nothing is stored on your device and the result is aggregate and anonymous, the site does not ask you to accept cookies. Our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in understanding which pages are read and which are not, so we can maintain the site. Browsers sending a Do Not Track or global privacy-control signal are not counted.
Purpose and legal basis.
Information submitted through the contact form is used only to respond to your enquiry — routing it to the right team (systems, silicon, or programme) and following up. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and the consent you give by submitting the form.
Third parties.
Web3Forms (see §02) is the only third party involved in handling a contact-form submission, solely to relay it to Spherical's inbox. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with any other third party except where required by law.
Retention.
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to and conclude your enquiry, and for up to 24 months afterward for record-keeping, unless a longer period is required by law or a business relationship develops from the enquiry. After that, we delete it.
Analytics records (§03) are aggregate and hold no identifier that points back to a person. We keep them for 24 months, then delete them.
Requesting, correcting, or deleting your data.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it (access);
- have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- ask us to delete your data (erasure);
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our processing it;
- receive the data you gave us in a portable format (portability).
To exercise any of these, contact info@spherical.si. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) — we'd appreciate the chance to address your concern directly first, at the address above.
Updates.
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "last updated" date above.
